Although this photo is a few weeks old now, we are pleased to repot that our garden is growing, the shutdown at the Smelter is over and life is returning to normal. We enjoyed having Phill's parents in town at the start of the month and Lauren is coming to Kal at the end of this week. The weather is warming up - after the obligatory cold snap for Race Round (windy too, to blow dresses and hats around).
I've been helping out with the programming of the services at Kalgoorlie Baptist for the last few months and on Sunday sung at the Kalgoorlie Town Hall Centenary Celebration Service (about 350 people came). I'm still tutoring at ECU, still playing piano and singing at church, and still working on our curtains!
After Phill working such long hours for the last couple of months with the shutdown we are looking forward to our weekend away with homegroup in Esperance for the Queen's Birthday long weekend. We celebrate Ben and Becky Noordink's birthday in style on Sunday with a great party - and as usual we are busy with lots of work around the house. The latest photos are on the Picasa site. Leave me a comment if you want the address (my blog is public now...).
Well that's all for now - hope you are doing well :)
