I've been loving reading Stephanie's blog about the Scrap Happy project over at Scrapworthy lives, so I was thrilled when I found out she's got a blog hop going. You have probably found me from Kiss and Tell Scrapbooking.
This month the theme is:
Contemplate the Heavens
Boethius: “Contemplate the extent and stability of the heavens, and then at last cease to admire worthless things.”
Scrapbooking with a feeling of wonder helps me stay peaceful. Here’s a page I created back in 2008 in my early scrapbooking days. I love that over 3 years later I still love this page – the colours and sentiment have me ready for spring to bloom!
This year our back yard doesn’t have an almond tree – in fact it looks a little like this:
But a lot more level now! I must take more photos.

Love your layout! The colors are so pretty. Funny that you say what keeps you focused on the big picture? Ha. I just realized recently that I haven't been focused on the big picture, had to take a step back and take a deep breath. Feeling much better now that I'm focusing on the positive..... :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful layout! Taking some time to go through my photos, scrapbook, and blog help me keep the big picture in mind.
ReplyDeleteLovely post. :) It is a nice idea to bring back an old layout.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating! I like that you used an older layout! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteYour layout is lovely! What keeps me focused on the the big picture? - it's a constant struggle, but I try my best to sort through the small things and toss them aside. That lets me focus on what's really important.
