Lyrics
There’s a bumble bee, a honey bee
Gettin’ the honey for you and meDoin’ it doin’ it – doin’ it doin’ it
Buzzing around – helping the garden growThere’s a little worm diggin’ around
Eatin’ dirt from out of the groundDoin’ it doin’ it – doin’ it doin’ it
Little worm – helping the garden growUp in the sky there’s a yellow sun Shining down on everyone
Doin’ it doin’ it – doin’ it doin’ it
Shine shine – making the garden growThere’s a big fat cloud and a drop of rain
It’s falling down on the window paneDoin’ it doin’ it – doin’ it doin’ it
Splish splosh – making the garden growFly fly through the sky
Little bird drops a seed
The seed grows up into a tree
A green umbrella for you and meCroaky frogs, cats and dogs
Creepy crawlies under a logDoin’ it doin’ it – doin’ it doin’ it
All over the world – making the garden grow
Everybody – making the garden grow
You and me – making the garden grow

ReplyDeleteWhat great music for this month's olw prompt. Isn't it amazing how our kids favorites somehow become our own? I love the embossing! Thanks for sharing your olw experience! -Amanda
ReplyDeleteYour book looks amazing. Thanks for sharing your process with us. I love the song, too! :) Blessings as you continue to "grow"... :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad someone else used their kids music for their OLW assignment. I listen to my kids music more then mine, so I need to use it too.
ReplyDeleteThis was so fun to read. Thanks for playing along!
ReplyDeleteIf your life includes kids right now, then that's the music! Beautiful embossing there.
ReplyDeletei absolutely love your embossing work this month. way to adapt the prompt to your life! i love seeing your growth each month!
ReplyDeleteglad to see another olw-er with a single song. focusing on one song seems to help the word be more specific yet encompass your focus. your page looks to be so very pretty.

Justine Clarke has great kids songs. My girl is "too old for that" now but I still sing along if I catch it on TV. Love your embossing.
