Just to let you know I am back safely from Adelaide, I really enjoyed the conference and all the related social events. It was great to meet a lot of people I've seen posting to the Aus-Archives list serve and I met a lot of people from WA over there too!

Now that is official, I can tell you why I am going to Adelaide. I won the Student Category Mander Jones Award from the Australian Society of Archivists.



The Australian Society of Archivists and Edith Cowan University are paying for my travel, registration and accommodation so that I can attend the national conference, and the Cocktail Party at the State Library of South Australia where I will receive the award.

Hi people

My apologies for the couple of pages missing content. When I get back from Adelaide (yes, I have to tell you about that too) I'll update the site.

This is my first post, just to test out what is happening here :)

We found a bird in our backyard. Well, Milly, the dog we were looking after at the time, found it. I, being the sort of person I am, decided we should try to find the owner. After 2 days with no success, we decided let it go free. But here are some pictures of it.
